Woke up early to go to the Bangkok South Bus Terminal to take a bus to Damneon Sadeuk floating market. Taxi to the bus terminal was about $10, it was 40km away. There didn’t appear to be a direct expressway link as the driver spent most of his time on city streets, but . . . → Read More: Third full day in Bangkok and Damneon Sadeuk floating market

Here are the highlights from our second day in Bangkok:
We took the boat from the central pier along the river; this was very cheap (Less than $1 / person). Our boat driver was very new and he had trouble docking us at the central pier! At Pier 15, saw catfish in the water. . . . → Read More: Second full day in Bangkok

Our first day in Phuket wasn’t as enjoyable as we thought it could be. We were kidnapped in the morning by a British woman on a scooter, who lured us in with a “winner” prize and the promise of a t-shirt.
We ended up wasting about 3 hours in a timeshare presentation, and we . . . → Read More: First full day in Phuket

We had a long-ass plane ride to get to Phuket, connecting through Bangkok. This is what we had to do in order to not pay hundreds of dollars for the ticket. On the flight, we encountered a half-Thai half-Danish race car driver. He had apparently just won a race, and was carrying around a . . . → Read More: Flying to Phuket

Day two in Chiang Mai was pretty interesting. We took a tour for most of the day, and our first stop was to see and ride on top of the elephants. That was pretty fun, except for the fact that the elephant cleaned out his trunk on us a couple of times! Our tour . . . → Read More: Chiang Mai, Day 2

Our first day in Chiang Mai was pretty relaxing. The first thing we did was take a tuk-tuk into the center of the city and look for a foreign exchange. We eventually found one and then walked around, exploring the different temples, looking at the ceremonies taking place, and relaxing. There was not too . . . → Read More: First Day in Chiang Mai

We spent the past day just traveling all the way to Chiang Mai. Our tuk tuk driver brought us to the ticket counter at 6:30, and we were picked up and brought to the bus station just before 7. I . . . → Read More: On to Chiang Mai
